Sea of Cortez

Home to more than 6,000 distinct animal species, the Sea of Cortez truly is the most biologically-diverse environment on earth. Allow yourself to be immersed in the enchantments of this sea, described by Jacques Cousteau as the “aquarium of the world.” Swim with sea lions, get up close to the Giant Pacific Manta Ray, and watch as gray whales migrate through Magdalena Bay. Join the captain and expert naturalists on the bridge of the ship to search for pods of dolphins, orca, and sperm whales. Stroll through picturesque seaside villages and converse with fishermen who survive on Isla Cayote, a remote island with no source of fresh water. After each day of adventure, return to the deluxe Safari Endeavor for a relaxing massage, dip in the hot tub, or delicious meal. With its hydrophones and underwater camera capturing the teeming sea life aboard, you won’t miss a thing.
